Cycling Trip in Seletar, Punggol, Seng Kang & Hougang!
Hi, my name is Young and I am going to share with you about my cycling trip to Seletar and Punggol Waterway.
On the first trip, from our home, we headed towards Seletar Airport. If you are going for a bicycle trip like ours,
I recommend you to bring some snacks, drinks, raincoat and umbrella.
On the way there, we faced a lot of obstacles like reaching a dead end and it leaves us no choice but to turn back to take another
path and some of the paths are usually blocked by overgrown bushes. We also found lots of snails crawling around.
Unfortunately, it started to drizzle when we reached a bridge that oversee Seletar Airport. So we decided to head back home.
On the way back home, we pass some shops located at the Punggol Jetty. There are many types of shops and what
caught our eyes was the House of Seafood where they served yummy tasty crab!
You can eat some crabs which cost $52 per kg at House of Seafood. My father said that those crabs are big and should weigh about 2Kg each.
We enjoyed our cycling very much, especially when the park was almost deserted due to the light rain.
This is the start of the punggol waterway. After a while, we reached a road. As you can see (Right picture),
there is many heavy vehicle passing by us as there is a lot of construction going on in Seletar. If you cross the road,
you can reach Punggol Jetty. We turned left, pass by the dam, and headed towards Seletar.
As you can see, this place is as dislocated as an abandoned town and overgrown bushes blocked our path.
When we were at the top of a bridge that oversee Seletar Airport, we took this picture.
As we are heading home, we took a short break and enjoy the scenery and the cool breeze...
This is punggol park but located at Hougang. This park could be packed with people sometimes.
For this trip, we covered about 40KM within 4 hours.
Thank you for reading. Good bye.
